Link x Dark Link: 7 - friends

"I want you to meet a couple of my friends. They're really awesome and i can guarentee that they'll like you. Though I can see right now that i'm gonna get a mouthful when they hear that i've revealed myself as a vampire to you." Dark said as he held Link's hand. they walked down an alleyway, where Dark said that this was the place his friends resided.

"An alleyway?" Link had asked before, wondering what kind of friends his lover actually had if they lived in an alleyway.

"Yeah, its a building in the alleyway, they dont really like the outside world or these people we're trying to avoid." Dark had replied, causing great suspicious in Link.

The blond had tapped him on his shoulder, "What kind of people are you trying to avoid?" He had asked.

Dark then had shrugged, "Just... kind of bullies i guess. Don't you want to avoid bullies in your life?"

Link had laughed, "Like Ganondorf, I would love to avoid him." He had said only as a joke, but Dark stiffened when he heard the boss's name.

"Yeah, like ganondorf." Dark had replied.

Now they turned down an ally and Dark stopped. He let go of Link's hand and ran down into the shadows ahead. Link heard a small knocking noise and a loud creak followed. The blond shivered slightly with fright and looked behind him, just to make sure that no one was about to creep up behind him. He soon heard some muttered talk, most of it aggravated sounding and looked back in front of him. Foot steps followed and a tall figure stepped out of the shadows. It was a woman dressed in robes and a hood covered most of her face, though you could see bright orange hair coming out and covering her chest. She walked over to Link and inspected him, gripping his shoulder to turn him around. She huffed out and looked towards the shadows again.

"Shiek!" she called out to the place where Dark had disapeared into. Muffled foot steps followed when the name was called and another figure stepped out of the shadows.

It was a tall man, taller than Dark, with a scarf covering his face. his hair was blond and you could tell that he was very handsome. He walked over to the woman, who was still inspecting the blond, and leaned down to get face to face with Link. "What is it Midna?" Shiek asked, his blue eyes staring into Link's.

"what do you think about him?" Midna asked, stepping from behind Link to stand next to Shiek. She seemed tall too, but not as tall as the man bending over to look at the small blond, who was trying to hide his nervousness.

Shiek sighed in a thinking manner and stood up straight, towering over Link. "He looks just like Dark." he concluded.

Midna nodded, smiling, since only her mouth was visible. "He does. Do you think that he's anything like him?"

"If he is," Shiek replied, "Then god help us. We dont need two Darks running around hyrule and causing trouble." He said, turning away from Link. "Ah but I can notice a few difference between the two."

"And what is that?" Midna asked, turning her head to look down at Link.

"Their hair, eyes and skin." Shiek said and although you couldnt see it, he smiled. "Also, this kid here is shorter."

This here slightly aggravated Link and he stood on his tippy toes, trying to seem taller, "Im not that short!" he exclaimed.

Midna let out a laugh and patted Link on the head, "Sure sure, you keep thinking that!" she said, turning to walk back down the alleyway. She dissapeared with Shiek following and once again, there was muffled talking. Dark ran out a few seconds later and engulfed his blond lover in a tight hug.

He leaned down and whispered in Link's ear, "They like you." and with that said, grabbed his arm and pulled him into the shadows. They entered a large room with lights, though dim lights, and, well, it was just like any normal house, just in an alleyway.

Link looked around. There was an upstairs, leading up into just another hallway with rooms to the side. A kitchen, living room, bed rooms, bathroom, dining room. Yep, just like any other household. The blond looked over at Midna, who had finally taken off her hood. Link was amazed at the sight before him. Midna was beautiful! There was no way to explain it really, just... beautiful.

She grinned, seeing how Link was looking at her and said, "What? Are you so stunned by my beauty that you can't speak?"

Link immediatley looked away, "I was just uhh... Well I mean, why did you wear that hood outside when you look so pretty?" he said, happy to find an exuse for his staring. "I was just shocked is all."

Midna smiled, "Sure you were," she teased and turned towards the kitchen, walking in there to search through the cubbords for a meal. She grumbled and walked over to the fridge, opened it and pulled out a pack of blood, making Link wince back a little and turn away to face Dark.

He heard Shiek walk over to her and say, "You better share that," before he tuned them out.

"They're vampires too?" Link asked Dark. He recieved a small nod and a shrug from the vampire and he walked over to the living to flop down on the couch. Link followed and sat next to him. "Interesting house hold. But do you have any, you know, people food?"

"Only a little, we get tired of drinking blood sometimes and decide to eat normal stuff. Like when im at your house, even though you dont have much food, i like to eat that kind." Dark said, wrapping an arm around Link's shoulder and pulling him closer. "Though i like tasting you more than anything." he said, grinning.

Link blushed immensly, smiling sheepishly back. They heard a clearing of the throat and looked behind them to see Midna and Shiek, with Shiek's arm around Midna's waist, looking at them with amusement. Link blushed even more with pure embarrassment and looked away.

Dark on the other hand just stared at them, "What?" he said, still having his arm around Link's shoulder.

Midna smiled, "Oooh nothing." she said, walking over with Shiek to sit on another couch, facing them. "Just enjoying seeing how much Link's face can go red."

The blond pouted and looked at Dark, "I dont blush that much, do I?" he asked, hoping to hear, 'Oh no you dont, just occasionally.'

Dark shrugged and pecked Link on the lips, "You look cute when you do it."

So i do blush a lot. Link thought, becoming even more embarrassed but trying to push back the blush. "W-whatever." he said, stumbling over his words a little.

They all laughed it out and Link couldn't help but laugh too. He had to admit, he liked Dark's friends, and they were really friendly.

------------- (Back at Link's house) -------------

Shadows broke into the house, but no sound was made. They moved from room to room swiftly, not touching a thing in case someone could tell the difference. They were after one thing and one thing only.

A woman passed from room to room, the quickest of the gang that was looking for their prey. She paused at the bedroom and growled out in frustration, "Not here!" she snapped.

A man came up behind her, resting a hand on her shoulder which she quickly slapped away. The man sighed and sped off down the hall. The woman quickly followed and paused at the front door's entrance. She spat in frustration and ran out the house, followed by other shadowy figures. The door swung shut, but no one had touched it and only a cold feeling was left where they had stood.

"What do we do now? Since he's not here." The man from before questioned the woman.
The woman glared at him and he flinched away, she looked in front of her as they ran and suddenly stopped, followed by her comrades. "We wait." She concluded, raising her hand when one of her followers tried to object. She looked towards him and growled, backhanding him in the face. He fell to the ground, rubbing his sore cheek but immediatly got up. Showing weakness was not allowed. "We wait." She repeated, more harshly this time.

The man next to her nodded and went to find a hiding spot for when their prey came back home. The rest of the group broke up, doing the same. The woman glared at the house, spat on the ground and went off in a random direction. If we have to ambush him, then so be it. He will be mine. she thought.
